A little New Year's Day fun!

We had a quiet day today, especially since I slept in to make up for less than five hours of sleep the night before). The weather was almost spring-like but not warm enough to sit outside. So, I did laundry. LOL! But not before I got a few photos from the deck.

Stu took Cooper for a walk while I was doing laundry and I snapped a couple of quick photos of them coming back. We always let Cooper off the leash and he loves to run into the yard. I had fun with these two pictures. LOL!

With the cold weather snap last week, we splurged on something for Cooper. A heated water bowl and he loves it. It got a workout and did a great job. We had two days that never got above freezing with several nights well below freezing. We found this one at our local Rural King, but Amazon has a good selection as well.

One other recent purchase was a small side table for me to use beside the recliner. Back when Stu's back was hurting, he discovered it hurt less when he sat on the sofa so we switched everything. I had been using a folding tray table but that meant when it was time to eat, I had to rearrange everything. I found this nice little table on Amazon and it lets me store things inside, plug in my chargers on the back side, and have shelf storage as well (utilizing the cute little lidded baskets I got from Amazon.
